Local Businesses Join Forney ISD in the 'Pack the Pantry' Food Drive to Benefit the Forney F

On Monday, Oct. 1, the Forney Independent School District kicked off the District's annual food drive, 'Pack the Pantry' to collect donations to benefit the Forney Food Pantry. Campuses across the District will collect canned and boxed food items from Oct. 1 to Wednesday, Nov. 14. The Forney ISD Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) Cadets will visit every campus on Thursday, Nov. 15, load up all of the donations and deliver them to the Forney Food Pantry.

Last year, the District set a record with more than 35,000 donations delivered to the Forney Food Pantry. The District hopes to break that record this year.

In addition to all of the schools in the District collecting donations, this year a number of local businesses have joined Forney ISD in the 'Pack the Pantry' Food Drive. Below is a list of the businesses that will be collecting food donations as well.
