Forney ISD Conducting 'Pack the Pantry' Food Drive to Benefit the Forney Food Pantry
Forney ISD kicked off their annual food drive on Monday, Oct. 29. The 'Pack the 'Pantry' food drive will run from Monday, Oct. 29 through Wednesday, Nov. 14. All of the donations collected at every campus in Forney ISD will be delivered to the Forney Food Pantry.
The City of Forney and local businesses in the community are joining with the Forney ISD this year during the Pack the Pantry Drive. The City of Forney is collecting food donations at the Forney City Hall and also at the Forney Fire Department located at 104 E Aimee St. in Forney.
The Forney Food Pantry appreciates all donations, but they also have provided a list of items that they could really use. Please see the flyer below for a list of high need items. Also, please be sure to check the expiration date on items you would like to donate. The Forney Food Pantry can't stock items that are past their expiration date.
