Forney ISD Meets with First Responders to Discuss Safety in Forney ISD Schools

Several representatives from local and surrounding fire, police and emergency organizations recently gathered at the administration building in Forney ISD to meet with District officials to discuss safety items across the District.

Some of the first response organizations that met with District officials included the Kaufman County Sheriff's Department, the District's School Resource Officers, the Forney Police Department, the Forney Fire Department and the Kaufman County Constable's Office.

The organizations met to review and collaborate on the District's new emergency procedures and on the best practices of safety procedures for the students and staff of Forney ISD.

The organizations planned to continue to meet throughout the school year to continue to discuss safety practices and procedures.
