Forney ISD to Honor Board of Trustee Member Keith Bell with Retirement Reception
For twenty years, Mr. Keith Bell has devoted his time and energy to Forney ISD as a member of the Board of Trustees. When he was first sworn in on the Board of Trustees in 1998, the District consisted of just four schools. Today there are a total of fourteen schools and more than 10,000 students learning, growing and excelling in the classroom! It is rare for an individual to devote so much time away from his family and to work tirelessly to ensure the best education possible for the students of Forney ISD.
During the May 31 Board of Trustees regular monthly board meeting, Mr. Bell announced that will be stepping down from the board. Mr. Bell recently won the primary election for Texas House Representative District 4.
On Monday, June 25, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Forney ISD staff and administrators and the Forney ISD Board of Trustees will honor and recognize Mr. Bell for his work and years of dedication on the Forney ISD Board of Trustees. Please join us as we celebrate Mr. Bell with a retirement reception and thank him for all of his years of service and for his dedication to making Forney ISD one of the best school districts in the State of Texas!
