Forney ISD Middle School Students Earn Top Honors at Junior VASE Competition

Student artists from Brown Middle School and Warren Middle School recently participated in the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) Junior Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) competition. Several students that entered artwork in the competition earned medals and top honors for their work.

To earn a medal at the competition, students must receive a 4 rating by the judges. In addition to entering artwork into the competition, students are also required to interview with the judges as well. The top 25 percent of the region receive a Silver Medal as well.
