Forney ISD AFJROTC Cadets Win Awards at Annual Drill Competition

Forney ISD Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) cadets competed in an annual drill meet on April 14 at Corsicana High School and won several awards. A total of 22 high school ROTC programs competed at the drill meet.

The following Forney ISD AFJROTC cadets earned honors at the drill meet:

Armed Drill Team: Commanded by Cadet Major Aidan Odle- 2nd Place Unarmed Drill Team: Commanded by Cadet Major Aidan Odle - 4th place Sabre Team: Commanded by Cadet Captain Jacob Rodriguez - 4th place Drill Down Female: Cadet First Lieutenant Whitney Smith - 4th Place Drill Down Male: Cadet Chief Master Sergeant Zachary Clark - 2nd Place
