Forney Education Foundation Sporting Clay Shoot Fundraiser Set for March 30
The Forney Education Foundation will host a Sporting Clay Shoot Fundraising Event on Friday, March 30 at the Rockwall Gun Club located at 15950 State Highway 205 in Terrell, Texas. The event will be held to help raise funds to support the Foundation's Dual Credit Scholarship Advantage Plus program for Forney ISD high school students and grants for teachers in the District.
The Forney Education Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to support the students and staff of Forney ISD. The Foundation provides dual credit scholarships to help students earn college credits while still in high school. The Foundation also funds teacher grants each year. Since 2008, the foundation has awarded more than $450,000 in teacher grants to Forney ISD teachers and staff members.
The Forney Education Foundation Sporting Clay Shoot is scheduled to begin with lunch served at 12 noon followed by the start of the tournament at 1 p.m. Shooters can register individually or as a team. Individual entry is $150 and a team of four for $600. Entry fees include shells, cart shuttles and lunch.
