Forney ISD Pre-Kindergarten Registration Set for March 22

Forney ISD has set Thursday, March 22 for Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) enrollment. There will be two sessions for parents to enroll their child in the Forney ISD Pre-K program. The first session will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and the second session will be held from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Parents will only need to attend one of the two sessions.

Pre-K is available for students who are 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2018 and who meet specific qualifications.

The following are the qualifications to attend Pre-K in Forney ISD:

• Income (must provide food stamp/SNAP letter or four current paycheck stubs)

• Language (English is not the primary language spoken in the home)

• Foster care

• Active military

The following documents are required to complete enrollment into the Forney ISD Pre-K program:

• Birth Certificate (student)

• Social Security Card (student)

• Current shot record

• Parent's driver license with Forney address

• Utility bill ( one of the following - gas, water or electric)

• One of the following - mortgage statement, lease agreement, settlement statement, deed, closing contract​
