Hundreds Attend Forney ISD's 4th Annual Health Fair
Forney ISD hosted the District's 4th Annual Health Fair on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 in the cafeteria at Forney High School from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
The FISD Health Fair, presented by the Forney ISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC), was a two-hour event full of interactive booths of health and safety information, screenings, fun activities and take home prizes. The goal of the health fair was to bring the entire community together to promote healthy behaviors and provide resources to help accomplish total wellness.
Passport Health/North Texas Flu Shots conducted a flu and children's vaccination clinic at the FISD Health Fair this year. Vaccinations such as Chicken Pox, Dtap, MMR, Meningococcal were available.
In addition, SHAC held a competition between schools in the District on which school could have the highest attendance at the Health Fair. Congratulations to the Smith Elementary CATCH Team for having the highest attendance at the 2018 Health Fair and winning the 2018 trophy!
