Forney High School FFA Students Win Awards at Fort Worth Stock Show

Forney High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) students recently competed in the Fort Worth Stock Show and won awards.

Taylor Bosher took 4th Place out of 27 in the lamb competition and Megan McGown placed 13th out of 54 in the goat competition.

A total of 10 Forney High School FFA students participated in the Fort Worth Stock Show presenting nine goats and one lamb.

The Forney High School FFA students that participated in the stock show competition included Aubree Evans, Kaitlin Youngblood, Anna Hatcher, Brianna Marsh, MacKenzie Adams, Destini Cheek, Leah Lopez, and Lily Odle.

The students will compete in the Kaufman County Jr. Livestock Show beginning on Feb. 28 through March 3. This will be the final show for many of the students and their opportunity to sell their animals in order to invest in a new project next year.
