Suits Presented the Ford Tough Player of the Week Award
North Forney High School quarterback Colby Suits was recognized during a pre-game ceremony of the North Forney High School varsity football game on Thursday, Oct. 19 for being named the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week. Suits received the award for his performance in the Falcon's win against Wylie East on Sept. 22, 2017.
Suits accounted for all 10 touchdowns for North Forney in the Falcons' 70-65 win over Wylie East. Suits, a senior was 16-28 for 400 yards and threw four touchdowns. He ran the ball 18 times for 193 yards and five touchdowns while also catching a touchdown on a trick play.
Suits came into the game against Wylie East with 663 passing yards on the season. His highest rushing total prior to the game against Wylie East was 12 yards. Following the Wylie East game, Suits had passed for a total of 1,063 yards and 14 touchdowns.
In addition to his talents on the football field, Suits also has a 4.3 GPA (on a 5.0 scale). He has verbally committed to Louisiana-Monroe University.
