Forney ISD Hosts College Fair

The Forney Independent School District hosted a College Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Brown Middle School for students and parents in Forney ISD. More than 60 colleges from Texas and across the country provided information and answers to attendees at the event. Members of all branches of the military were also at the event to talk with students and parents about military services and opportunities.

There were also a number of informational sessions at the College Fair including a panel discussion where students and parents can ask questions of military personnel; an NCAA eligibility session hosted by Forney ISD Athletic Director Neal Weaver and a financial aid session to help parents understand and discover opportunities to help with college tuition and expenses.
