Forney ISD to Host College Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 19
The Forney Independent School District will host a College Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 19. This year the event will be held at Brown Middle School located at 1050 Windmill Farms Blvd. in Forney. The FISD College Fair is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m.
Colleges from Texas as well from several other states will be at the event and provide information to students and parents about degree programs as well as other campus information including student housing and other campus offerings. Military personnel will also be on hand to provide information as well.
There will also be a number of informational sessions at the College Fair including a panel discussion where students and parents can ask questions of military personnel; an NCAA eligibility session hosted by Forney ISD Athletic Director Neal Weaver and a financial aid session to help parents understand and discover opportunities to help with college tuition and expenses.
