Forney ISD Parent Involvement Workshop: Taking an Active Role

Then the Forney ISD Parent Involvement Workshops are the answers to all of your questions.

Beginning this September, Forney ISD will host the first of several Parent Involvement Workshops designed to help parents become more involved in their child's education and more supportive their child's school.

The first workshop, titled Parent Involvement: Taking an Active Role, will be held on Monday, Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the district's Central Administration Building located at 600 S. Bois d'Arc. The workshop will help parents gain insights into the value of their contributions at home; gain greater understanding on school expectations; learn techniques on how to communicate with their child's teachers; learn tips and strategies to help build student success and discuss dropout prevention approaches.
