Forney ISD High School Football Begins on Friday, Sept. 1

High school football in Forney ISD kicks off the regular season on Friday, Sept. 1. Forney High School will play their first home game at City Bank Stadium against Richardson Berkner at 7:30 p.m. North Forney High School will begin their season on the road against the Tigers of Mount Pleasant. Kickoff at Mount Pleasant is also 7:30 p.m.

With the start of the football season beginning this week, we wanted to remind everyone of the guidelines for City Bank Stadium.

City Bank Stadium General Guidelines

Ticket Gates and Admissions

1. Gates will open 1.5 hours prior to kickoff.

2. There is no in/out privilege; re-entry requires the purchase of a new ticket.

3. All individuals with passes must utilize the pass-gate on the home side.

4. Bags and backpacks (other than clear, see-through) are not allowed in the stadium.

5. Outside food and drink is prohibited. No coolers are allowed.

Press Box

1. Press Box access is by pass only.

2. Coaches from home or visiting team may access the 3rd floor without a press box pass.

3. Press box passes are available at the pass gate on the home side.

General Facility/Stadium Rules

1. No artificial noisemakers are allowed in the stadium.

2. Items such as balls, Frisbees, or similar toys are not allowed in the stadium. These will be confiscated if used in the concourse or bleachers.

3. Throwing items in/off the stands will be grounds for immediate removal from the stadium.

4. Confetti, powder, balloons, or other items requiring detailed clean up are not allowed.

5. No sounds systems or speakers may be brought into the stadium.

6. No soliciting, sales, or advertisements, or broadcasts are allowed in the stadium unless permission has been granted through Forney ISD procedures. Limited sales space is available on concourse for school organizations.

7. Pets are prohibited in the stadium, except for service animals.

Field Regulations

1. All personnel that are not in uniform must have a sideline pass, available from the campus or district athletic office, or at the pass-gate on game day with pre-approval.

2. Tobacco, sunflower seeds, colored drinks, confetti, and other contaminants are prohibited.

3. No glass of any kind is allowed on the field.

4. Halftime props must not mark or scar the field. This includes painted items as well as sharp wheels or other equipment that may damage the artificial surface.

5. No motorized vehicles of any kind are allowed on the field.

6. Only personnel with a sideline pass are allowed on the field. Spectators are not allowed on the field at any time before, during, or after the game.

Stadium Bleachers

1. No artificial noise makers.

2. No bare chests or body paint by district regulation. No paint or paint products may be brought into the stadium.

3. No loitering is permitted. Spectators must remain in the stands and keep off the rails. Walkways should remain clear at all times.

4. Spectators may not enter the field area or cross to the other side of the stadium.

5. All signs must be approved by campus administration and may not refer to the opposing team. Signs should be positive in nature. Tape may not be used in the stadium.

6. All signs should be removed by participating school.
