Forney ISD Elementary Schools Hold Meet the Teacher Night
The first day of school for all Forney ISD students is Monday, August 21 and several elementary students had the opportunity to meet their new teachers for the upcoming school year on Tuesday, August 15. All of the elementary schools in Forney ISD held Meet the Teacher Night so students and parents could find out who their teachers will be, where their classroom is located as well as gain additional information about the upcoming school year such as lunch periods, drop off and pick up guidelines and other important information.
The District projects that more than 10,000 students will attend school in Forney ISD during the 2017-2018 school year and a large number of those students will be elementary age children. Forney ISD has nine elementary schools, two middle schools and two high schools.
