Forney ISD STEAMfest a Successful Event to Kick-Off the Start of the 2017-2018 School Year

Forney ISD's 2017 STEAMfest was a tremendous success and the perfect way to kick-off another great school year in Forney ISD!

Hundreds of people from all across Forney and beyond came and enjoyed fun and games and great food while learning new and exciting things about Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math! (STEAM). Attendees had the opportunity to try to Escape the Bus, try their hands at making Slime and Stained Glass pictures or jumping into the middle of movie scene with the Green Screen Magic!

Children of all ages constructed buildings in Cardboard City and just about anything they could think of in the Lego Creations center.

Participants were also treated to award winning musicians from Forney High School and North Forney High School when both of the high schools drum lines performed at the event!
