Forney ISD Teachers Begin Preparing for Another Great School Year

On Monday, August 7, teachers in Forney ISD returned to work to begin preparing for another great school year in Forney ISD! The first day of school for all students is Monday, August 21 and teachers have spent the first week back learning new teaching techniques, programs and strategies to provide their students with the best learning experience possible!

Throughout the week, every teacher in the District completed rotations at the District's Central Administration Building involving a number of events, activities and interactive educational models that they will begin implementing in their classrooms this year. These activities included Escape the Bus, Design Stations, Screencastify and Viewedit, Breakout Edu and Academic. All of the activities required teachers to use their imaginations, technological resources as well as teamwork to complete tasks, solve puzzles and gather information.
