Forney ISD 2017-2018 Back to School Information
Students in Forney ISD will return to the classroom to begin the 2017-2018 school year on Monday, August 21, 2017. Below is information that students and parents will need to know as they prepare for another outstanding school year in Forney ISD!
As a reminder, all returning students to Forney ISD MUST complete the on-line registration and residency verification by August 1, 2017. Click on the link below to log in to Skyward to complete the registration/residency verification form. The registration/residency verification can only be completed with a parent Skyward account, not a student's Skyward account.
School Start Times
Elementary
First Bell - 7:25 a.m.
Tardy Bell - (Actual start of school) -7:35 a.m.
Dismissal - 3 p.m.
Middle School
First Bell - 7:55 a.m.
Tardy Bell - (Actual start of school) - 8:05 a.m.
Dismissal - 3:40 p.m.
High School
First Bell - 8:15 a.m.
Tardy Bell - (Actual start of school) - 8:25 a.m.
Dismissal - 4 p.m.
School Meal Prices
Breakfast –All grade levels - $1.35
Elementary Lunch - $2.70
Middle School and High School Lunch – $2.80
*Note - Parents can now pay for school lunches during the 2017-2018 school year through Skyward. Log in to Skyward with a parent account to set up an account. Any remaining funds in Nutrikids/MySchoolbucks from 2016-2017 will transfer to Skyward.
