Forney High School Wind Ensemble Advances to State Competition

The Forney High School Band's Wind Ensemble recently advanced through the Region and Area levels of the Wind Ensemble competitions to advance to the state round of the Texas Music Educator Association’s Honor Band process.

More than 250 bands competed in the Wind Ensemble competition and the Forney High School Wind Ensemble is now ranked in the top 16 bands in the state and in the top five percent of all 5A division band programs in the State of Texas.

Final results in the Texas State Wind Ensemble Competition will be announced on July 25.
