The emphasis of the courses is to develop the attending cadets into leaders capable of running their respective Corps (Unit) or programs at their respective schools. The courses are an extensive, week-long program of seminar-based course of instruction, guided discussion on leadership, corps management, corps operations and communication. Daily activities included physical training (PT), room inspections, personal inspection, drill and ceremonies with an emphasis geared toward developing personal attributes that are key to every leader. In addition, each course includes team building activities to include parade practice, team sports, team challenges and other flight-based activities that help develop and encourage cooperative attitudes and problem-solving skills.
