Forney ISD AFJROTC Unit Earns Numerous Awards
The Forney ISD Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) recently received notification from the Department of the Air Force Air University (AETC) that they earned several awards.
The program was awarded the 2016-2017 Distinguished Unit Award with Merit (DUA w/Merit), the Distinguished Unit Award (DUA) and the Outstanding Organization Award (OOA). These awards recognize the personal growth and accomplishments of the cadets, contributions of the instructors as mentors and the support of the school and local community.
