Forney ISD Soccer Teams Rise Up For Canton
The Forney High School and North Forney High School soccer teams are uniting together to collect items to donate to Canton and surrounding areas impacted by the recent tornadoes.
In 2012, Forney felt the devastation of a tornado. People from surrounding communities came together to restore our city. Now it’s time to help our neighbors in need.
We believe that we “rise up” by lifting others up. We are collecting donations of any of the following items: towels, washcloths, shampoo, razors, shaving cream, deodorant, gift cards for Brookshire’s/ Walmart, trash bags, tarps, diapers and baby formula. Names of contributors to the campaign will be recognized in the next 2017-2018 Forney ISD football program. Additionally, 10 names (for each campus) will be randomly chosen to receive a free pass to a home FISD athletic event for the 2017-2018 season.
The Forney ISD soccer teams are accepting donations at North Forney and Forney High School and can arrange pick-up if needed. Due to the urgency of the situations, items will be collected through Tuesday of next week.
