FISD Baseball and Softball Teams Advance to State Playoffs
Both of the Forney High School and North Forney High School baseball and softball teams advanced to the University Interscholastic League (UIL) State Playoffs this year. Below are the schedules for each team's playoff games for May 5 and May 6.
All games will be best of three game series.
Baseball
Forney High School Baseball
Forney High School vs Texas High
Game 1 - Friday, May 5 - 4 p.m. at Texarkana High School
Game 2 - Friday, May 5 - 30 minutes following game one at Texarkana High School
Game 3 - Saturday 12 noon if needed at Texarkana or Tyler (Will confirm after Friday's games)
North Forney High School Baseball
North Forney High School vs Sulphur Springs
Game 1 - Friday, May 5 - 7 p.m. at North Forney High School
Game 2 - Saturday, May 6 - 11:30 a.m. at Sulphur Springs High School
Game 3 - Saturday, May 6 - 30 minutes after game two if needed
Softball

Game 1 - Friday, May 5 - 7 p.m. at Garland High School
Game 2 - Saturday, May 6 - 12 noon at Garland High School
