Forney ISD Announces Campus Teachers of the Year for 2016-2017
All of the schools in Forney ISD announced their 2016-2017 Campus Teachers of the Year on Monday, Jan. 23. Congratulations to all of the teachers that were selected as their campuses most outstanding teacher this year.
The teachers that were nominated and selected as Teachers of the Year for their campuses were nominated on the following criteria:
The Campus Teacher of the Year should:
Seek to carry out FISD’s vision by "Inspiring Students through Innovative Education"
Have a strong sense of values, integrity, and professional ethics;
Be an exceptional dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled teacher;
Inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn;
Be dedicated to providing the highest level of education to all students;
Have the respect and admiration of students, and colleagues;
Be energetic, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude;
Plan to continue in an active teaching status in FISD;
Serve as an instructional role model and leader on the campus
