Forney ISD will hold Kindergarten Round-Up for all incoming kindergarten students for the 2018-2019 school year on Tuesday, March 27 at each elementary school in the district. Parents should go to the school they are zoned for to enroll their child that will be in kindergarten starting with the 2018-2019 school year. A student is able to attend the full-day kindergarten program if they are five years of age or older on or before September 1, 2018.

 

Each elementary school will have two times when parents can come to enroll their child. The first session will be held at 9 a.m. and the second session will begin at 6 p.m. Parents only need to attend one of the two sessions to enroll their child.  

 

Parents will need to bring the following documents to Kindergarten Round-Up to enroll their child:

• Birth Certificate (student)

• Social Security Card (student)

• Current shot record

• Parent's driver license with Forney address

• Utility bill ( one of the following - gas, water or electric)

• One of the following - mortgage statement, lease agreement, settlement statement, deed, closing contract
